Abstract

The Health Service is an agency engaged in the field of public health services, where the success of the implementation of duties and responsibilities within the agency depends on the work spirit of its employees. This study aims to determine the effect of the work environment and work discipline on the work spirit of the Pasuruan City Health Office employee. This research is a qualitative research and population research. The population in this study were all employees of the Pasuruan City Health Service as many as 67 people. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant positive effect between work environment on employee morale of 0.567 and tcount 6.242> t table 1.997 with a significance level of 0.000 <0.05. There is a significant positive effect between work discipline on employee morale of 0.306 and the value of t arithmetic 3.749> t table 1.997 with a significance level of 0.000 <0.05. There is a positive and significant effect between work environment and work discipline on employee morale, this is evidenced where F count 53,967> F table 3.14 or the significance of F 0,000 <0.05. The coefficient of determination (adjusted R2) is 0.616 which means that there is an influence of the work environment and work discipline on employee morale at the Pasuruan City Health Office employee, the percentage of influence is 61.6% and the other 38.4% is influenced by things or other variables not examined in the study this. .Keywords : Work environment, Work discipline, and Work spirit, Multiple Linear Regression
